Guest Posting Guidelines
Shh! If you’ve made it on this page, it probably means that I gave you the link myself. You need to stay hush on this since I don’t want my productivity bogged down with any more guest post requests than what I have today.
Let’s get down to business shall we? The last thing I want to do is end up wasting both our time. And it’s for that reason that this page is greeting you right away. Below you’ll see details that should assist you in composing a blog post you can be proud of long after you’ve written it. Frankly, you need an article of that caliber to be admitted as a guest blogger here.
Keep reading so we could touch base on all the items I’m after in an article. Take note that you would need to suffice each point just to make the minimum – so I suggest you go through everything like a checklist so as to not waste any of your time and effort.
WORKFLOW OF GUEST POST APPROVAL
Step 1: you think hard
Step 2: you send me multiple ideas (as described below)
Step 3: I look it over and tell you my thoughts
Step 4: after we’ve decided, you write a draft
Step 5: send over the draft in a word document — I’ll look it over and ask for edits etc.
Step 6: if finally approved, send over the final draft in the proper formats (as described below)

- Your content must include two images. First should have 500px wide resolution. Second is the header with a resolution of 300×300 pixel square.
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
I’ll be honest with you, out of around a dozen guest post requests I receive, 90% gets turned down. So how do you become a part of the 10%? Bear with me as I discuss the things I like seeing in guest posts.

REQUIREMENTS
A guest post should be:
- 100% unique – it shouldn’t be a repost, retold or copy write type of article
- > 1200 words
- I want specific actionable steps and no fluff
- Its topic should be applicable far into the future and not just be based on current events, news or trends
- I want its claims backed up by data and not just opinions
- Extra Credit: It should link to other great posts on my site
- The best post should strive to attract more comments and drive discussion. Which means that you’ll need to be active responding to comments on my site for at least a week after it is posted.
