Wow! 80% of Hack the Habit Participants Achieved Their Goal

in Exercise, Make Money, Productivity

Some of you may not be aware that, behind the scenes, I’ve been running a private invitation-only program called Hack the Habit, where a small group of HtS readers are collaborating with accountability partners to change their behaviors and install one new habit in 30 days.

The first group just finished, and the results are in. Check out some of the responses from a survey I asked participants to complete.

When I asked: “What was your goal? How was your success completing the goal during the last 30 days? Did you find yourself achieving more than you have achieved in the past?”

Participants said things like:

and…

When I asked: “Did your accountability partner offer enough support? Mention an experience where they did help, and one when they could have helped more.”

One reader responded:

Another person said…

Honestly, I LOVE seeing this type of feedback. It just confirms that with perseverance and a little help from our friends, we can accomplish any goal, or create any habit.

It also makes me feel great about myself. So that’s always a plus.

According to the preliminary analysis, 80% of participants in the Hack the Habit program successfully accomplished their goal over the 30-day period.

But it’s not all roses. As with any challenge, some people did not complete their goal successfully. There are lots of reasons why creating a new habit is hard:

  • Not picking the correct “micro-habit”
  • Not setting aside a specific time/day to work on the habit
  • Trying to use “willpower” rather than automation
  • Not being truly ready to change

Here’s a question for you: If you work for 30 days to install a new habit, and it doesn’t work, what do you do?

Do you throw up your hands in exasperation and say, “Ugh, I knew I’d never be able to ______.”

Or do you stop, evaluate the process, identify the weaknesses in your approach and try again?

As hundreds of people just found out in Hack the Habit, the process for habit change is proven, and predictable. You just have to follow the steps.

Now, the good news: I’m opening Hack the Habit back up

What habit do YOU want to build in 30 days?

  • Lose weight?
  • Write every day?
  • Make more money?
  • Learn programming?
  • Learn a new language?
  • Start playing guitar again?
  • Spend more time with your loved ones?

The possibilities are endless. Just pick one.

I’ll set you up with an accountability partner, and together, we’ll help you achieve it.

Registration closes on Friday, 2/28 and the next group starts the program Monday, 3/3.

You can sign up below.

I can’t wait to see you there.

Amazing article. Always good information. I have a youtube channel dedicated to teaching dropshipping. If anyone wants to learn how to drop on ebay please checkout my videos. Here is some information on dropshipping.
What Is Drop Shipping?

Drop shipping is a retail method in which you don’t keep products in stock. Instead, you partner with a wholesale supplier that stocks its own inventory –

you transfer customer orders and shipment details to them, and they ship the goods directly to the customer. The biggest benefit of drop shipping is you don’t have to worry about fulfillment or inventory issues.

Also, most customers don’t know you’re drop shipping, since “private label shipping” lets you ship from the wholesaler with a return address and invoice customized to your ecommerce store.

The Benefits of Drop Shipping

There are a number of reasons you should consider drop shipping:

1. You Don’t Need Buckets of Money: Drop shipping makes it amazingly easy to get started selling online. You don’t need to invest heavily in inventory, yet you can still offer thousands of items to your customers.

2. Convenience & Efficiency: Successfully launching and growing an ecommerce business takes a lot of work, especially if you have limited resources. Not having to worry about fulfillment is incredibly convenient and frees up your time to concentrate on marketing, customer service, and operations

3. Mobility: With all the physical fulfillment issues handled, you’re free to operate your business anywhere you can get an internet connection.

4. It’s a Trusted Model: You might be thinking that this sounds like some sketchy, fly-by-night model – but it’s not. Plenty of work from home online stores, even major retailers like Sears, use drop shipping to offer a wider selection of products to their customers without having to deal with increased inventory hassles.

How Do I Find Drop Shipping Wholesalers?

Before contacting suppliers, you’ll want to make sure your legal ducks are in a row. In the United States, most suppliers will ask for your business EIN number and a copy of your state sales tax and/or resale certificate. Once you’re properly established, you can start contacting drop shipping suppliers. However There is a wholesale directory service called salehoo which have thousands of suppliers listed who don’t require any sales tax information.

There are various ways to find drop shipping wholesalers, I have video’s on my youtube channel that outlines your best options.

Before you start dropshipping on ebay there are some pitfalls to watchout for. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch my YouTube video over dropshipping and how I lost my ebay business.

Hi all,
I refer to my day 29 of Hack the Habit. In a few hours I will have completed my goal.

Physically I feel very good , because my micro – habit ( take my bike every day at 6:30 am, winter time , and take it to the street) , it became from day one in the habit of walking 30-50 minutes through the empty streets of my city . Today I enjoy a very healthy and exercised legs better.

The hardest thing was hearing the negative and pessimistic comments of my close friends, but now they are shocked with my achievement. They encourage me now .

It is easy now, when I discovered that every day is easier to carry out my habit, because my daily trainings.

In short, I think If I can build and habits from nothing , with a lot of discipline and effort. The results are in sight, because people ask me what happened to me because they’re watching changes in my body .

Similarly , we can apply the creation of habits in our work performance or our business . Simply aim at any and everything that we consider will be possible.

I signed up and the website said my spot was confirmed, but I have heard nothing since then. Did I miss something and am now excluded from this go-round?
