Although this has been around for years, it’s a great invention and I couldn’t live without mine (my Mum is Dutch and that is where I was first introduced to this).

@Maneesh: Video works brother — and I don’t care what people say, I get fascinated and giddy when I see good design. Especially in everyday items that most people consider boring. If you are interested in seeing a FANTASTIC documentary on what entails “good design” (be it software, fashion, products etc), I highly recommend watching “Objectified” : http://amzn.to/pdLNIN

@david: You taking actual time off your life to post that comment is EASILY more comical than any video about a spoon.

Hey Maneesh, I don’t get it either like David.
Is this “device” not known in the US? Its very common in Europe and I bet every second household has it. Maybe there is a market niche in the US?

I don’t know how to put this Maneesh but you might as well have done a video on the spoon. That cheese slicer has been around so long, I can’t remember not knowing about it and I’m 46, so you look a little silly demonstrating a common household item. In fact, I think it’s so old, they are not that popular anymore because frankly, they only work on certain cheeses and they carve out middle of the cheese block and leave the sides…just not that great an item…could have been an SNL skit…”look what we’ve discoverd…a three pronged utensil that allows you to pick up things by stabbing them!”

Hey Maneesh:

I am confused: None of these videos work for me (with the exception of the youtube video) — it keeps saying “Video Available in 144445 Hours” then when I refresh the page it changes to “Video Available in 1 Min” — but it never is available. Am I just clueless?
